Meet Makayla
I have been married to my best friend for 4 years and we have two adorable and crazy Australian Shepherd pups that we love with our whole heart. I am an empath who loves finding the art and beauty in daily life. My perfect day ends in a peaceful warm evening with my husband in our backyard playing with our pups.
I have always had a love for photography. Growing up my mom had boxes and boxes of old photographs that I loved to go through. That is the first time I saw what a photo can do. It holds memories that pull you back to that exact moment in time. The old film photos that have been passed down through generations in my family are now cherished family heirlooms. This is why I truly believe in creating timeless and nostalgic images that will be treasured for generations to come.

I witness so many beautiful and emotional moments, but there's something about that moment after the first kiss that gets me every time. The energy in the ceremony space is electric. Seeing the newlyweds walk back down the aisle, so happy and in love, with their family and friends cheering them on, is priceless.

My current favorite book series is A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. I love a good fantasy book and reading outside is one of my happy places.
antiques & vintage design
I am a sucker for vintage inspired design. I love being my own amateur interior decorator. You can find me searching through thrift stores, bidding on antiques at auctions, and scouring Facebook Marketplace for vintage furniture.
I love to play board games. I am obsessed with finding new and unique games to play. My friends and I have a monthly game night and it is one of my favorite things.

Favorite food
I love a good bowl of ramen! My favorite place in Columbus is Tiger and Lily. It is right downtown. If you are in the area you have to check it out!
